Gryphon Wet Belt

The Gryphon Wet Belt Sander is a new
addition to Gryphon's line of larger cold
working equipment. This little gem is
perfect for the home glass artist. This is
not a bit grinder, but a true belt sander
with a variety of grits of belts that are
easy to change. With each sander you
get an 80, 120 and 400 grit belt; this
works just like sandpaper on wood, start
with the coarsest, or the lowest number,
first. Notice in the picture to the right the
pink sponge, this keeps the water level
just right against the belt for optimum
sanding.

Gryphon recently added a new cork belt
to the lineup, although it is only available
separately, it will give a fine finish to glass
similar to a fire polish. Give this great
new tool a try in your home workshop; you
won't regret it!

Note: we tested both the Gryphon with its
regular belts and the cork polishing belt
before adding it to our list of accessories.
We are very pleased with its performance.
